That is the deceptively simple question that Kinesiologists United was created to answer.  There are probably as many answers to that question as there are kinesiologists.  That's part of the reason there seems to be so much politics within and between the organizations representing different methods of doing kinesiology.  Everyone has their own answer.

Kinesiologists United was set up as a clearing house for all of these varying viewpoints, so people could take all the information that's out there and form their own opinions.  Once you have become familiar with these ideas, you can come to your own conclusions, join Kinesiologists United, and share your own answers here with the rest of the world.

Yet, having made the nebulous nature of the subject as clear as possible, there must be something we can say about kinesiology as a whole.  Here's our best shot:

Kinesiology is the use of manual muscle testing, to obtain information directly from the body.

Anyone disagree with that?
